Steps to Progress
The Leadership Programme of SSY gives scope for everyone to progress far beyond the present. Irrespective of past actions and positions, every person is inspired to take greater responsibility. In this module, most of the people start as being followers. They progress by taking higher challenges. Everyone has the scope to be leaders working harmoniously. Let us see how the persons can progress further.
The Followers: They do not contribute anything to society. They live as parasites. They only want to take. They have abandoned dharma. Some examples are babies, thieves, black marketers and Prostitutes. They can be called untouchables or ASPRUSHYAS.
Those with limited responsibility: They want to get the maximum benefits for doing the minimum work. They have the mind-set of a typical Government employee. They work for the sake of their own security. They can be called SHUDRAS.
Those responsible for their own profit: They find out what is needed by the people. They will provide these goods for a profit. They can be called VAISHYAS.
Those responsible for everyone around: They will protect the interest of everyone else. They are even willing to give up their lives for that. They can be called KSHATRIYAS
Those responsible for training and enlightening everyone: Their aim in life is to elevate the consciousness and gain Ultimate knowledge. They will do any work, which is required to be done, at any cost. They can be called BRAHMANAS.
Those responsible for the entire Universe: They are the enlightened beings who have the ability to command nature. They can be called the SIDDHAS.
(Note: The above classification is only meant for self-evaluation. It has nothing to do with the present caste-system prevailing in India.)
